I. Liaoluo Port
- Total port area is 728,119m2.
- Water area is 471,997m2; land area is 256,122 m2.
- North breakwater 1,005m long; south breakwater 400m long; south internal breakwater 145m long; bank revetment on the south side of the storage and handling yard (II).
- Navigation channel around 110m wide; manoeuvring basin 250m in diameter; navigable waters inside the port with the water depth ranging mainly from 3.5~5.0m.
- Dock #1 is 135m long, with a berth rear apron 20m wide; Docks #2 & #3 adopt the straight-line layout pattern and have a total length of 232m, with the a berth rear apron 66.5m in width (depth).
- The facilities mainly serve the oil tankers, sand and bulk cargo ships.
- An oil-hydraulic mechanical Ro/Ro slope is provided for driving to and from the passenger and cargo ships.
- The 200m-long shallow dock, with a rear area of around 2.2 hectares, mainly serves to berth the service boats, small navel ships and other official ships.
- The storage and handling yard is divided into three sections to provide pipeline unloading facilities, store cargos shipped via the “mini-three links” and to park the dock machinery and vehicles, with the parking lot reconstructed into a passenger service center.
- The port administration zone accommodates passenger waiting room, Kinmen County Harbor Office, Port Police Station, public lavatory and other buildings.
- National Defense Zone is at the entrance of the Port, on the west side of the road, and serves as a naval campsite.
- Other facilities include land handling machines, navigation and warning light beacons, front and rear leading lights for the navigation channel, and two tugboats.
II. Shueitou Port
- Total port area is 2,198,199m2.
- Water area: 1,403,894m2; land area: 794,305 m2.
- To meet the passenger transport demand arising from the “mini-three links” policy, a United Office Building has been constructed and a small passenger dock and a large floating dock have been built on each side of the jetty.
- Jetty:
- The existing Shueitou Jetty with a total length of 288m, the maximum width of 20m and maximum water depth of 2.5m, can berth ships on both sides.
- A floating dock with a designed water depth of 2.5m is located to the west of the Jetty.
- A large floating dock with a designed water depth of 4m will be constructed to the east of the Jetty.
- Breakwaters: The west breakwater is 600m long and the north breakwater is 1,580m long.
- Other facilities include the Wind & Rain Corridor, small passenger dock, united office building and customs clearance facilities.
- Other equipment: The dock area is equipped with a 20-ton crane.
III. Jiougong Port
- The total port area is 197,901 m2, including a water area of 163,964 m2 and a land area of 33,937m2.
- The Port has a jetty and a floating dock, which may berth a 1,000DWT cargo ships.
- The jetty is 180m long, with the minimal width of 27m, maximum water depth of 5m, and the waters beyond the end of the jetty are 4.0~5.0m deep.
- The floating dock serves exclusively for passenger transport, with a designed water depth of 3.5m.
- The waiting room is located at the entrance of the port for resting the passengers.
- Other facilities:
- A plot of land to the west of the floating dock has been reclaimed from the sea and serves as a minibus parking lot.
- A 20-ton crane is provided but most cargo ships berthed unload the cargo with their own equipments onboard.
- On each side of the navigable waters, there are three warning buoy lights to mark the border of the navigation channel.
- There are not any cargos stacking facilities. All the cargos are temporarily stored at the dock area.
